The project involves the development of Data foundation and designing dashboard for different matrices with Order, delivery, Purchase and Make data in HANA.

Project Description: SAP MBT BIA System

 

Medical Business Transformation (MBT) is aiming to change the processes and systems used by client to better support and service their medical customers. Client has upgraded from their legacy applications to higher versions and have established single version of source for their reporting requirement. MBT processes are organized around the customer experience and key points of interaction across our supply chain like PTS (Plan To Stock), STS (Source to settle), OTC (Order To Cash), CTC (Customer to Contract), Finance and Controlling .   Analytical Data Warehouse (ADW) maintained in SAP BW, Teradata, utilizing Business Objects as the reporting tool.

Responsibilities:

·               Working as SAP HANA / BI Lead Consultant Design and Development, Implementation initiatives.

·               Extensively working on Requiment gathering by interacting with different stake holders, modelling and development in HANA, BW (Business Warehouse) and BO (Business Object).

Cardinal Health has begun moving toward a more integrated operating company through the One Cardinal Health initiative. The first step is to develop common financial processes across all of Cardinal Health, and FSP was created to power this transformation.  SAP BI is being used in the all area as a warehouse and reporting purpose for the financial and the other entire are like SD, MM etc.

It allows business users to analyze data from operative SAP applications R/3 as well as all other business applications like CRM and external data sources such as databases like SIEBLE and some flat files. It is a portal based reporting system which helps management to take better decision for running Business.

It deals with 3 applications (i) Heritage  SHA - FC&A  UK Sunbury  CoE (Shared Accounting) provides a financial and management accounting service, including payroll, to clients within the Group. (ii) FIMS (Function Internal Management System) system has been designed to provide Functions and Regions with a single-source solution for automated reporting of financial management information directly from books of records. FIMS deals with  BP’s Cost Information. (iii) iBuy BW Reporting system.

Duration: (April 2007- December 2007)

 

The BP Group manages indirect taxes levied upon transactional events, e.g. Sales, Purchases, Movements and Financial transactions. There are many systems maintained to calculate the tax and many of the systems today handle indirect taxes through a series of manual decisions or workarounds which does not give the Tax Function the required level of assurance over the control and management of these highly complex and integral taxes. The new iTDW will be able to extract all the relevant detailed tax data from different systems, into a single easy to access central location.  This data warehouse would then have preconfigured tax authority reports and a clear audit trail to the original data.

Duration: (June 2006- March 2007)

 

It is a Data Migration project. Data is migrated to a central repository (BFG) from different source systems like ORION, CLASSIC, TPS etc. Different types of data like Customer, Site, Services and Inventory are migrated.  Agile Methodology has been followed in this project. Two method of migration has been followed. Tactical Approach and Strategic Approach.

SMARTLOAD is a tool for data validation, generation of error log, sends mail to the user along with the error log as an attachment and migration of data from one system to another. It is tool that can be used to validate the data of any source system and loading of the data into a specific source system, which is the strategic approach of data migration.

 

Responsibilities:

 

·               Worked on understanding recruitment and Development for Tactical Approach of Data Migration.

·               Extensively working on carify based ticket for issue reolution, and development of new enhancement and defects.

·               Lead the effort towards complete backed activities (Understanding and up gradation of recruitments, preparation of Low Level Design Document, Table design, Coding and deployment in the specified environment) for the Tool Called SMARTLOAD (Strategic approach for Data Migration). Created technical and functional documents for the projects.

·               I had I was working a team lead for a development team, so effort estimation of development effort and assigning work to team and peer review of development object was my areas of responsibility.

Duration: ( January 2006- May 2006)

 

The software is developed for British Telecom, UK. The tool EDIE is an intermediate engine between Woosh (Application of BT wholesale) and SwiftClear (Application of BT Global Services). It will monitor the fault proactively. It will get private circuit and ISDN alarm data from Woosh and then will raise the fault intelligently using the SwiftClear.

Client: Department for International Development (Orissa, India)

Duration: ( August 2005- December 2005)

 

The software is developed for The Directorate of Treasury & Inspection, Govt. Of Orissa and it is funded by DFID (Department for Internal Development). The software will automate the whole process of treasury and DTI. Budget will be centrally maintained at DTI and all the transaction of treasury (Payment, Receipt, Pension, Stamp) will be done through the software.

 

Responsibilities:
